Prof.Dr.Altay Uludamar
He was born in Ankara in 1966. He started Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 1983 and graduated in 1988.
In 1989, he started his doctorate program at Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics. After his clinical and scientific qualification studies, he entered a program in University of London, Eastman Dental Hospital, Department of Prosthodontics in 1992 and completed his Master’s program with a degree at the end of 1993. He received his PhD degree from Selcuk University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics in 2007, with the thesis titled ” An in-vitro investigation to evaluate the influence of different surface preparation methods on the bond strength of two composite resin luting cements to yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide ceramic restorations “.
In 2012, he was entitled to receive the Associate Professor title. In addition to his clinical practice, in 2016, he took part as a founding member and lecturer in Cappadocia University, Dental Technology Vocational School and lectured and trained student dental technologists on dental laboratory technology and prosthodontics. He has been elected to train and lecture international students in Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University since fall 2017 academic year and became the Professor at the same University. He is the author for many national and international articles and has been teaching general dental practitioners in applied courses and lecturing on esthetic dentistry and dental materials.
Dr. Uludamar is the co-founder of Dentaldente Private Dental Clinic in Istanbul, which is a multidisciplinary dental clinic with incorporated training facilities for dentists.
